15% vitamin C in Aprive boost serum

After the summer, my skin is full of blemishes and freckles and extremely dry. One of the products I definitely reach for is the one with vitamin c which is a powerful, clinically proven antioxidant that provides skin protection against aging and whitens it.
A number of clinical studies have shown increased collagen synthesis after vitamin C use. Furthermore, vitamin c inhibits the enzyme tyrosinase (blocks or reduces the action of the enzyme that produces melanin), which prevents the occurrence and intensity of hyperpigmentation.
Some studies suggest the anti-inflammatory effect of topical vitamin C (indirect inhibition of the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines) and its use in skin conditions such as rosacea and acne, as well as promoting wound healing and preventing progressive hyperpigmentation.
I am currently using APRIVE vitamin C serum which, according to the manufacturer, combines a proven effective and strong combination of 15% vitamin C, vitamin E and ferulic acid (0.5%) with the addition of hyaluronic acid.
The penetration of vitamin C through the lipid layer of the skin will allow for an easily absorbent and watery gel texture of the serum. Products containing this form of vitamin C (12% ascorbyl glucoside AG and 3% sodium ascorbyl phosphate SAP) are very stable, and their texture and color do not change.
Vitamin C has been shown to increase collagen synthesis fivefold. If we add vitamin C to skin cells, fibroblasts, which are responsible for the production of collagen, collagen synthesis will increase and the skin will be more elastic, firmer and look younger, because collagen fills wrinkles and improves skin structure.
Ferulic acid, as a powerful antioxidant, slows down the synthesis of melanin and thus prevents the development of hyperpigmentation on the skin, and also helps to fade existing ones. The addition of ferulic acid lowers the pH and increases the antioxidant capacity of the product.
It also contains good old hyaluronic acid, which has the ability to bind large amounts of water, as much as 1000 times its weight. It is found naturally in the skin, but with age its concentration decreases, so we replace it with products that contain it.
All Aprive products are free of silicone, parabens, dyes, synthetic fragrances, alcohol, mineral oils, sulfates, phthalates, formaldehyde, GMOs, PEGs, TEA and DEA. They do not contain ingredients of animal origin and have not been tested on animals.
Apply a few drops of serum in the morning or evening after cleansing the skin. It has a light liquid texture that is quickly absorbed and after application it continues with the usual day or night care. In the morning, after cleansing the skin and applying vitamin C, I used a moisturizing cream and SPF protection. It didn’t cause me any reactions and my skin literally shone after use. After just a few days of use, the facial skin became lighter and the complexion even.
If you use retinol products, apply vitamin C in the morning and retinol in the evening. The packaging is a hygienic, airless (airless) pump bottle, which prevents serum contamination.
