The Ordinary NMF + HA moisturizer

I have become a real addict to The Ordinary products because with clearly stated ingredients on the packaging, which force you to learn and study their effects and effects on the skin, they are affordable and more than affordable. In case a product does not suit you, there is no regret for the money wasted. At least not a big one, and after all, you certainly have someone in your environment who will take it over with enthusiasm, because that is exactly what suits him. Of the more than ten TO products, two to three suit me (Buffet serum, “red” chemical peel 30% AHA and lettuce oil) and are part of my daily routine, and I have passed the rest on to friends. However, learning with TO is so much fun that I am happy to try their other products, which I will write about here. One of these is The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA Moisturizing Face Cream.
Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride, Cetyl Alcohol, Propanediol, Stearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, Glycine, Alanine, Serine, Valine, Isoleucine, Proline, Threonine, Histidine, Phenyla Maltose, Fructose, Trehalose, Sodium PCA, PCA, Sodium Lactate, Urea, Allantoin, Linoleic Acid, Oleic Acid, Phytosteryl Canola Glycerides, Palmitic Acid, Stearic Acid, Lecithin, Triolein, Tocopherol, Carbomer, 20 Isoceteth Chloride, Citric Acid, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Pentylene Glycol, Triethanolamine, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin.
Natural moisturizing factors (NMF) keep the outer layer of the skin protected and well hydrated. NMF consists of several naturally occurring and water-soluble humectants, compounds that attract water from the atmosphere like a magnet. Therefore, the skin is dry when there is not enough moisture in the air, and also when it is washed too often.
The Ordinary NMF + HA cream contains 11 amino acids, phospholipids, alpha / beta / gamma fatty acids, triglycerides, sterols and sterol esters, glycerin, ceramide precursors, urea, saccharides, sodium PCA and hyaluronic acid that restore NMF hydrating factor.
It does not contain silicones, perfume, oils, gluten and the ingredients are of vegan origin and the company does not test on animals. The preservatives are phenoxyethanol and chlorphenesin.
As with all The Ordinary products, the price is affordable and you will hardly find a similar product (quantity and composition) for that money. In summer, I don’t like creams with a lot of active ingredients for fear of hyperpigmentation, so this basic moisturizer suits me. At first, the texture of the cream looks thick, but when you start applying it on the face, it still spreads lightly and absorbs instantly. It does not leave an oily film, your skin will not shine at all and therefore I believe it is a better choice for those with oily and combination skin type. In summer it is enough for my dry skin. I use it after TO Marine Hyaluronics serum and in that combination it hydrates enough. It remains to be seen how it will behave on my skin in the winter months and whether it will give it enough hydration.
