The Body Shop soothing aloe vera gel

No matter how much I take care not to burn myself in the summer and that my skin does not turn red, somehow it always happens that the sun burns at least a part of my body. Then THE BODY SHOP aloe vera soothing gel came as a lifesaver for my skin. It is used for face and body skin and can also be used as a face mask. According to the manufacturer, it hydrates, soothes and refreshes the skin of the face and body. Like all TBS products, the raw materials are procured in a community fare trade way, so is the aloe vera from which the powder found in the gel from Mexico is made. So, in this gel, it is not aloe vera juice, but its powder, probably because the process of storing the aloe vera plant is too expensive, so a much more practical powder is made from its pulp. How much aloe vera loses from its beneficial effects, I do not know, but this gel is great for soothing the skin.
Ingredients: Aqua, Pentylene Glycol, Propanediol, Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder, Sodium Hydroxide, Caprylyl Glycol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Trideceth-6.
Free of alcohol, dyes and odors. High on the leaves are glycerin, phenoxyethanol and aloe vera leaf powder, which is produced from the gelatinous middle of the leaves. The texture is transparent, non-greasy, the gel is quickly absorbed into the skin and as soon as you apply it, you will first feel a pleasant cooling. When I applied it in the evening in a slightly thicker layer, in the morning my skin was soothed.
Although there are probably gels whose composition is richer in pure aloe vera, this one has proven so effective to me over the years that I don’t even want to look for a replacement. I don’t go on vacation without him in my bag.
