Product of the Month – Drunk Elephant mar lettuce oil

Tiffany Masterson, the founder of Drunk Elephant, started this great brand wanting to create care products that she wanted to use herself, but could not find on the market. This is how the product line with the unusual name Drunk Elephant ™ was created, the so-called clean compatible cosmetics, cosmetics without harmful ingredients and Suspicious 6 (essential oils, alcohol, silicone, perfumes, sulfates and chemical filters).
Trend clean cosmetics is growing worldwide and more and more companies are opting to produce cosmetic products without harmful ingredients, using only a minimum number of natural ingredients and packaging them in packaging that is recyclable and does not further pollute the environment. The philosophy of the Drunk Elephant ™ brand, in addition to “pure” products, also lies in biocompatible ingredients. They use only non-irritating, small molecules that are easily absorbed and utilized by the skin.
The inspiration for the brand name Tiffany Masterson found in the story that elephants like to eat the fruits of the lettuce tree, which ferment in the digestive system of elephants and cause a state similar to drunkenness. Lettuce oil is found in all Drunk Elephant products ™ because the founder believes that it has no equal in skin care, and after a month of use I can agree with that. Lettuce oil is extremely rich in omega 3 and 6 acids and antioxidants that nourish and balance the skin.
So, Drunk Elephant ™ Virgin lettuce oil for the face is the first one that suits me perfectly.
It contains no ingredients other than 100% unrefined, virgin lettuce oil. It is absorbed with great ease, hydrates the skin almost instantly, leaving no excess shine and greasy residue. It evens out the complexion and reduces the visibility of wrinkles.
Lettuce oil does not close pores, so it is suitable for all skin types, even for oily acne-prone because it has an anti-inflammatory effect. After a few days of application in the morning, the skin glows.
For dry skin, it is enough to apply 2-3 drops in the morning and evening, and a few drops can be added to make-up. It also nourishes the skin of the hands and all other dry parts of the body that need additional hydration. To prevent wrinkles around the eyes, apply 1-2 drops to that area as well.
Drunk Elephant mar virgin lettuce oil is a real discovery for me because I gave up all face oils because of the oily mark they leave on the skin. However, this oil makes the skin elastic and soft and creates a great base for make-up.
