Lancome HYDRA ZEN cream

Although I rarely buy creams in perfumeries, sometimes, I admit, I can’t resist them either. The reason for this lies in the touch of luxury provided by French cosmetic companies in a package with excellent marketing campaigns and product packaging. Traditional luxury French brands like Lancome are a real example of the above.
I bought the Hydra Zen day cream after trying the tester pack. I haven’t bought a perfume brand cream in a long time, but I wanted to see if cosmetic giants like this have adapted to a market looking for effective products with a clearly declared composition, targeted action, and more affordable price. Also, customers are increasingly looking for “clean” composition, eco-packaging and adherence to ethical business standards that include non-animal testing.
The conclusion is, they are not. They stayed true to their tradition – luxurious packaging, wonderful scent, mediocre composition and high price, all packed with commercials with the famous Hollywood star in the lead role who uses their products. I don’t know how many of today’s younger generations buy such products, although they are not Lancome’s target group, but millennials will also reach the age group and category when they will be able to buy them, and the only question is whether the “me” generation will become their target group. look for something else. It is a matter of each company’s business decision whether to stay with the original image and formulas or to adapt to new market trends.
Lancome Hydra Zen cream is everything I expected from her. It has a wonderful delicate scent, the packaging is glass and shiny and aesthetically, like all their products, it is perfect on the outside. The texture is light, easily absorbed, and effectively hydrates the skin. The composition is a little less perfect, it contains artificial fragrances, silicones, parabens and paint. Contains glycerin, and extracts of cocoa, peony, jasmine and rose.

The cream is applied to cleansed skin on its own or after the serum. It leaves the skin soft and supple, spreads lightly and absorbs quickly. If you want to afford a more luxurious cream here and there or give it to someone, this cream is a good choice because it hydrates the skin well and at the same time it looks nice and smells wonderful.
