They strive to produce clean, fruity care that will help give birth to your inner glow. Their motto is “Skin Care Should Be Fun”!
The formulas are made from the highest quality natural ingredients. The products do not contain parabens, artificial fragrances, mineral oils, sulfates, silicones, phthalates, alcohol, synthetic dyes. They are vegan and have not been tested on animals.
Some of their bestsellers are watermelon night mask, watermelon day cream, avocado night eye mask with retinol, pineapple whitening serum, blueberry cleanser …
Their first product I tried was GLOW RECIPE soothing and hydrating banana cream, originally called Banana soufflé moisture cream. It is intended for all skin types, even sensitive and prone to acne. They recently received dermatological certificates confirming that the cream is non-comedogenic and does not cause acne.
In addition to bananas, the main ingredients are chia seeds, magnesium, turmeric, Centella asiatica (gotu kola) and jojoba oil, which gently hydrates the skin and strengthens its barrier. Jojoba oil is rich in vitamins A, D and E and regulates sebum secretion, so it is suitable for oily skin, especially during the winter months. It also contains hyaluronic acid (Sodium Hyaluronate).

Banana is rich in magnesium and potassium, vitamin B and amino acids. Magnesium is a mineral that soothes and restores balance to irritated and inflamed skin and helps keep the skin barrier healthy, while potassium soothes irritations and hydrates. Gotu kola (Centella Asiatica) is known for its healing effect on dry, irritated and sensitive skin, while turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties, is rich in antioxidants, helps soothe redness, and balances and evens out skin tone.
The scent of the cream comes from banana water, the texture is creamy and is instantly absorbed. However, it is not nourishing enough for my skin, even with repeated application, so I had to use a serum before the cream and add a few drops of lettuce oil at the end.
If you have dry skin, self-application in winter will not be enough, but in summer it could suit you. I’ll save it and try again as soon as it warms up a bit.
GLOW RECIPE banana cream is reminiscent of Kraš’s Bananko chocolate.
