T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Drunk Elephant treatment to restore tired, gray and uneven skin after use promises baby-like skin (hence the name). In addition, it unclogs pores and reduces the visibility of pores and fine lines and gives the skin a glow.
Sukari Babyfacial treatment contains a mixture of 25% AHA acids (glycolic, lactic, citric) and 2% BHA, or salicylic acid. According to the manufacturer, this powerful formula for deep peeling will visibly smooth the texture of the skin and reduce the visibility of pores and wrinkles.
It also contains a soothing antioxidant mixture of matcha tea, milk thistle and apple extract, together with chickpea flour and pumpkin ferment, which whitens and evens out the complexion and makes the skin silky and supple. The manufacturer states that the formula is intended for all skin types because the mixture of acids with an ideal pH of 3.5 increases efficiency without causing redness and sensitization.

I applied it once a week in my evening routine to dry and clean skin. The peeling is left to act for 10 minutes, rinsed off with lukewarm water and continued with hydrating care. Immediately after application, you will feel a slight burning sensation that soon stops. After rinsing with lukewarm water, my skin was red, but after about 15 minutes and the application of moisturizing care, it stopped. Of these three tried chemical peels, the skin had the strongest reaction to this peel, despite the fact that The Ordinary has a higher concentration (30% AHA), but the result is also noticeable. When the skin calms down and gets used to after more use, it becomes purified, brightened and the pores are less visible.
In the morning it is necessary to apply a cream with a high protection factor due to possible photosensitivity of the skin after using acids. Do not use products with retinol and other acids in the same routine due to possible skin hypersensitivity.
This peel is the most expensive of the three used, and the results are almost identical because the peels are very similar in composition. The only difference is in the soothing and antioxidant ingredients that each manufacturer has included in the formula and in their texture (DE is the thickest, PC is gel-like and smooth, and TO is liquid).

Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 25% AHA & 2% BHA
Paula’s Choice is a chemical peel that rinses, regenerates the skin and visibly smoothes it, purifies the rough texture, brightens the complexion and unclogs pores (salicylic acid).
This concentrated scrub with a powerful blend of more acids reduces multiple signs of aging, sun damage and clogged pores. The combination of 25% AHA (8.4% glycolic acid, 7.1% lactic acid, 5% mandelic acid, 2.5% malic acid and 2% tartaric acid) and 2% salicylic acid provides gentle, multi-level skin rejuvenation. Herbal extracts or compounds containing such as bisabolol from chamomile, glycyrrhetinic acid from licorice and allantoin soothe the skin, while acids exfoliate. The blue pea flower soothes and gives a natural lilac color. This product works in a safe and effective pH range of 3.5 – 3.9.
Paula’s Choice chemical peeling has a gel-like and smooth texture that spreads easily, has a beautiful lilac color, and immediately after the application has visible signs of aging. AHA acids are soluble in water and act on wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and a rough, rough texture, and BHA (salicylic acid) which is soluble in oil and penetrates the pores to unclog, purify and soothe them.
I applied it once a week in the evening, in a thin layer, on clean and dry skin, avoiding the area around the eyes and lips. I left the scrub on for ten minutes and then rinsed it off with lukewarm water. Immediately after application, I felt a slight burning sensation of the skin, but it soon stopped, and after rinsing my skin was not irritated or red, but cleansed, brightened and smooth. After peeling, I used moisturizing serum and cream and sometimes oil.
Because this product contains ingredients that can increase the skin’s sensitivity to the sun, it is necessary to apply sunscreen with a protection factor of 30 or higher every day. When outdoors, wear protective clothing whenever possible, seek shade and avoid prolonged sun exposure.

The Ordinary Peeling 30% AHA & 2% BHA
The Ordinary peel contains 30% alpha-hydroxy acids (glycolic, lactic, tartaric, citric) and 2% beta hydroxy acids, or salicylic. While alpha hydroxy acids, especially glycolic acid, exfoliate the surface layers of the skin and remove wrinkles and small imperfections, salicylic acid due to its lower molecular weight acts in the deeper layers of the skin and “cleans” enlarged pores and hyperpigmentation.
The formula contains hydrating hyaluronic acid, vitamin B5, carrot extract which has antioxidant properties, and soothing Tasmanian pepper, to make the product tolerable to all skin types, including sensitivity. Tasmanian pepper berry extract gives the peeling a red color.
Apply in the evening on cleansed and dry skin of the face and neck, dab with your fingers, and leave on for a maximum of 10 minutes. In principle, it is applied as a mask and rinsed with lukewarm water. I recommend using it once a week, although the manufacturer states that it can be used up to twice. Avoid unprotected sun exposure at all times, especially when using scrubs.
After removing the peeling, the skin literally glows, even after the first application. The results are instantly visible, the skin is even, the blemishes have been removed, and I have noticed that my wrinkles are less visible. Facial skin gets a healthy glow.
Ingredients: Glycolic Acid, Aqua (Water), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Daucus Carota Sativa Extract, Propanediol, Cocamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Salicylic Acid, Potassium Citrate, Lactic Acid, Tartaric Acid, Citric Acid, Panthenol Lanceolata Fruit / Leaf Extract, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Xanthan gum, Polysorbate 20, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol.
It does not contain alcohol, oil, silicone, the product is vegan and the company does not test on animals.
A small note: if you have not used chemical peels or you have very sensitive skin, skip this peel and start with lower concentrations of acids and gradually increase them, so you will reach this extremely effective product.
The price of this, as well as all The Ordinary products, is more than affordable. It differs from the other two practically only in the texture which is liquid and of course the color, but this is negligible because the price is what makes the choice.
