Ceramides in Dr. Jart + cream

          Jan 03 2021

In order to save the damaged skin barrier by excessive exfoliation, I went in search of creams for dry skin that contain ceramides and found a yellow Dr.Jart + Ceramidin cream. Empowered by advanced Korean skin care technology, Dr. Jart + ‘s product line offers healing formulas in their famous cica creams and those with ceramides and rubber sheet masks. Ceramidin cream contains a complex of five types of ceramides, hyaluronic acid and natural extracts, which protect the skin from itching, redness and dryness and soften its dry and rough texture. The list of ingredients is long, they contain glycerin, shea butter, alcohol, aloe vera, algae, licorice root, panthenol, turmeric …

Intended for tight, dry skin, ceramide cream Dr. Yart +, according to the manufacturer, works deep in the dermal layer to provide intense moisture, while strengthening and protecting the skin. The complex of five types of ceramides improves moisture retention and accelerates the production of ceramides for longer-lasting hydration.

Ingredients: Alcohol, Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride, Hydrogenated Poly (C6-14 Olefin), Hydrogenated Polydecene, Methyl Trimethicone, 1,2-Hexanediol, Phenyl Trimethicone, Vegetable Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Ceramide NP, Glyceryl Stearate Acid, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Sorbitan Olivate, Behenyl Alcohol, C12-16 Alcohols, Stearic Acid, Cetearyl Glucoside, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Butylene Glycol, Algae Extract, Eclipta Prostrata Leaf Extract, Glyceryl Stearate Se, Methylprolesterol Crosspolymer, Malt Extract, Glyceryl Polymethacrylate, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Fruit Extract, Cellulose Gum, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Fructooligosaccharides, Beta Vulgaris Root Extract, Hydrolyzed Corn Starch, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Beta-glucan, Bifida Ferment Lysate, Dextrin, Myristic Acid, Theobroma Cacao Seed Extract, Panthenol, Disodium EDTA, Gumacose Extra Curc , Limonene, Citronellol, Polyquaternium-51, Amaranthus Caudatus Seed Extract, Ulmus Davidiana Root Extract, Avena Sativa Kernel Extract, Cynara Scolymus Leaf Extract, Pteris Multifida Extract, Raffinose, Linalool, Geraniol, Hydrolyzed Hyalurotemon Cacid, Acid Oil, Folic Acid, Corallina Officinalis Extract, Pyracantha Fortuneana Fruit Extract, Artemisia Vulgaris Extract, Tromethamine, Ceramide AP, Ceramide AS, Ceramide NS, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, Ceramide EOP

Since my skin barrier was broken (due to excessive exfoliation, dry air indoors heated spaces, winter), it took me about a month to re-establish balance. A healthy skin barrier retains moisture and maintains skin hydration, while damaged, visible on dry, sensitive, tight skin, leaks moisture and the skin is exposed to harmful external influences. Ceramides, which are the main ingredients of this cream, are lipids that are naturally found in our skin, but with age their level in the skin decreases and weakens the protective barrier of the skin. Ceramides are responsible for maintaining a healthy skin barrier, and by preventing the loss of moisture from the skin, they have a preventive effect against wrinkles and fine lines, as they enable deep hydration.

I used it in the morning and in the evening, in combination with hyaluronic acid with which it works great.

The cream has a thick texture, is easy to spread and absorb and has a mild, pleasant herbal scent. It is intended for very dry, dry and sensitive skin and does not leave an oily film. I applied it immediately after cleansing, and before serums and / or creams, as a treatment. Immediately after application, you will feel relief and comfort because your skin will not tighten and itch. Ceramidine cream after 2-3 weeks of use (in combination with other moisturizing products) significantly restored and improved my skin condition. It did not cause any side effects, and the skin tolerated it very well.

The price is quite high, which is the only drawback of this cream. A product with a similar composition has the Cerave brand in its range (it contains ceramides and hyaluronic acid), but at a much lower price.
