5 of my hand creams this winter

Dermeden hand cream against hyperpigmentation
Dermeden hand cream is a moisturizing anti-aging care. Hydra-Soothing fluid, a non-greasy moisturizing milk, repairs and nourishes skin with shea butter and apricot kernel oil. The silky, subtly perfumed texture of the cream is almost instantly absorbed into the skin of the hands leaving a non-greasy, protective film. However, the cream is not intended for very dry and cracked skin of the hands (in which case it is more appropriate to use Dermeden Repair care).
Given the current pandemic trends of enhanced hand hygiene, as an additional advantage, the antibacterial action of this cream should be highlighted. The combination of zinc and the antiseptic and bacteriostatic action of chlorhexidine is responsible for the mentioned epithet, and unlike the various hydroalcoholic gels that have flooded the market, this cream will not dry out your skin. This cream is good value for money.

Filorga Creme Universelle
With the cessation of production of Hand absolute, Filorgin was left without one of the most sought-after products today – hand creams. However, given the side effects of excessive use of antiseptics on the skin of our hands, Filorgina Universal Cream perfectly fills this “gap”. Filorga found the inspiration for this product in its Neocica, a cream primarily intended for skin renewal after laser, peeling, mesotherapy and hyaluronic acid injections, which after its launch in 2007, thanks to its effectiveness, soon became a favorite product of dermatologists and aesthetic medicine specialists. Its basic formula has been adapted and translated into this multi-purpose product for the whole family (including children from the age of 3). According to the manufacturer, the cream hydrates (thanks to the content of hyaluronic acid and urea), protects (thanks to the content of polysaccharides consisting of rhamnose, glucose and glucuronic acid, which also has an anti-inflammatory effect) and regenerates the skin (due to the content of peptides that stimulate collagen synthesis and Filorgina NCEF complex). The texture of the cream is not too thick, it absorbs very quickly and really hydrates, protects and regenerates the skin. The disadvantage is the price (259 kn for 100 ml packaging).

Cebelia Multi-Active Cream
Cebelia Multi-Active Moisturizing Hand Cream is another proof that the ingredients of proven effectiveness, known to all of us, in a properly selected ratio, always make a good product. The combination of glycerin, almond oil and allantoin in this product hydrates, nourishes, soothes and repairs damaged hand skin. The texture of the cream is easily lubricated, absorbs almost instantly and has a mild, pleasant scent. The manufacturer states that it also repairs damaged, brittle, brittle nails prone to peeling. Since I do not have such problems, I could not be convinced of the accuracy of these allegations, nor would I expect a spectacular effect given the composition. In my opinion, this cream is primarily a moisturizer, and to a lesser extent a protective hand cream. The price of 99 kn for 75 ml is a disadvantage, because products of a similar composition performed by one of the galenic laboratories can be found on the shelves of pharmacies at much lower prices.

Weleda Skinfood Light
I don’t use the original texture of the cream, but the light version because even it seemed thick and too thick. The manufacturer states that it provides instant relief to dry and dehydrated skin that needs intensive care and that it is very easily absorbed. Skin Food Light cream contains various herbal ingredients to soften, strengthen, smooth and restore the skin barrier. Apart from the skin of the hands, it can also be applied to other parts of the body and used as a mask. It is often used to care for very dry skin of the face, elbows and feet. I used it for hand care because it was too much for my facial skin.
Contains sunflower seed oil, glycerin, beeswax, cocoa and shea butter, pansy extract, rosemary, chamomile and calendula. It contains alcohol, lanolin and lactic acid.
The packaging of the cream states that it is a completely natural cosmetic with bio ingredients.
This is a cream for dry and very dry skin and has a fresh citrus scent. It has a thick texture, herbal and refreshing scent and will nourish, nourish and protect the skin of the hands, especially in the winter months. It is harder to absorb and has a strong but pleasant smell.

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Mains
L`Oreal is the most powerful group in the cosmetics market, so you can hardly find a prescription with dermatologist recommendations without any of the products from the three best-selling LRP lines (Cicaplast, Effacalar and Lipikar) Cicaplast hand cream contains niacinamide (4%) restorative action, shea butter that nourishes the skin and a high content of glycerin (30%), which creates a gentle protective layer and in combination with silicones makes the texture of the cream extremely lubricating and non-greasy. According to the manufacturer, it provides 48-hour hydration, soothes and regenerates, and is intended for dry to very dry and damaged hand skin. (On the Croatian page of the LRP, they state that it is for exhausted hands, which sounds more to me as a result of a bad translation). The cream does not contain fragrance or parabens, they say it has been allergologically tested, and tolerability has been tested on sensitive and atopic skin. It is currently absorbed, has no strong odor, restores dry and damaged skin, does not leave an oily film and out of the five tested, this one deserves the highest rating.
